Residents of Cogir of Freemont, Tom and Barbara, married for 58 years, attribute their lasting love to shared values, faith, and mutual interests, including their love for sports. They first met in 1960 and faced time apart due to health challenges, but reunited and married in 1966. After spending decades in Phoenix, Arizona, they recently moved to Fremont, California, to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Their relationship has been sustained by being best friends, sharing experiences, and staying active, including attending their grandson’s sports games.
